Erik Hanberg was born and raised in Tacoma. He graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, with a degree in English. Since returning to Tacoma in 2002, Erik has worked for a variety of non-profits Tacoma Regional Convention & Visitor Bureau, Bellarmine Preparatory, and the Grand Cinema, an art-house movie theater in downtown Tacoma. He is a writer and an entrepreneur, working with Mary Holste Design, Gold Book Development, and as the founder of the Horatio theater group. He is also the Executive Director of City Club of Tacoma. Erik also volunteers with the Distribution Committee of the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation.
